Wife of Sima Yi and mother of Sima Shi and Sima Zhao. Was posthumously promoted to empress by her grandson Sima Yan after he unified the Three Kingdoms.
Zhang Chunhua was said to have killed a maid who might have revealed Sima Yi’s feigned illness—an excuse he used to avoid serving Cao Cao. Afterward, she personally served meals to her family to prevent further leaks.
