Known as the Little Conquerer. Sun Jian's eldest son and the sworn brother of Zhou Yu. After his father's death, he rapidly conquered the Jiangdong region, laying the foundation for the state of Eastern Wu.
The popular story of Sun Ce trading the Imperial Seal to Yuan Shu in exchange for troops is fictional. Historically, Yuan Shu had already coerced Sun Jian's wife into surrendering the Seal. However, Sun Ce did successfully persuade Yuan Shu to lend him soldiers.
