Cao Cao's cousin and one of Wei's most trusted generals. Known as a defensive specialist who Cao Cao called upon for most of his critical battles including the battles of Jiangling and Fancheng.
During the Battle of Jiangling, Cao Ren charged through the Wu encirclement to rescue his trapped forces. Witnessing this feat, his subordinates called out, "General, you are truly a man from Heaven!"
