Zhao Yun

A Tiger General of Shu.

A warrior from Changshan. Zhao Yun started his career serving Gongsun Zan before joining Liu Bei. He distinguished himself in the Battle of Changban, rescuing Liu Bei's wife Lady Gan and his infant son Liu Shan.

Zhao Yun was instrumental in Liu Bei's conquest of Shu and Han Zhong. After Liu Bei's death, Zhao Yun participated in Zhuge Liang's northern expeditions.

Zhao Yun died of illness in 229 AD.
