Xiahou Dun

Cao Cao's close relative and one of his most trusted generals.

Xiahou Dun joined Cao Cao's coalition against Dong Zhuo.

During a battle against Lu Bu, Xiahou Dun was struck in the eye with an arrow. According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he swallowed the eye, declaring "Blood of my father, essence of my mother, I cannot throw this away!"

Xiahou Dun died of illness shortly after Cao Cao's death.
