Lu Su

An officer of Wu.

Initially a wealthy merchant, Lu Su befriended Zhou Yu and joined him in serving Sun Ce.

After the death of Sun Ce, Lu Su became one of Sun Quan's most trusted officials. He was instrumental in convincing Sun Quan to ally with Liu Bei in resisting Cao Cao, leading to an overwhelming victory in the Battle of Chibi.

After Chibi, Lu Su played a major role in maintaining the Sun-Liu alliance. He succeeded Zhou Yu after Zhou's death but died of illness seven years later.
