Wife of Zhuge Liang and daughter of Huang Chengyan.

Huang Yueying was rumored to had been ugly but Zhuge Liang's intellectual equal. Zhuge Liang agreed to marry Yueying despite warnings of her ugliness by Huang Chengyan.

According to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Yueying was an extraordinary scholar, having studied everything from strategy to magic. Her last words to her son Zhuge Zhan were "be loyal and filial".
