Cao Cao

The King of Wei. Known as the Hero of the Chaos.

The adopted son of a palace eunuch, Cao Cao rose to fame in wars against the Yellow Turbans and Dong Zhuo.

After the death of Dong Zhuo, he secured the emperor and conquered the central plains of China, defeating the likes of Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu and Lu Bu. But his quest to unite China was thwarted by Sun Quan and Liu Bei at the Battle of Chibi.

Skilled in politics, military strategy and literature, Cao Cao laid the foundations for what would become the Kingdom of Wei. He died of a brain tumor in 220AD.
